This webinar will present tested approaches, practical tools and lessons learned from transnational experiences across Mediterranean ports. The focus is on how multi-stakeholder supporting ecosystems and mini-territorial labs can drive environmental improvement, strengthen cooperation among public and private actors, and support behavioural change.

Participants will explore governance models, stakeholder engagement strategies and local agreements developed in different port contexts, while exchanging knowledge on how these solutions can be adapted, replicated and scaled up across Euro-MED territories and beyond.

This webinar will feature contributions from key project partners actively involved in advancing environmental governance in Mediterranean ports.

ASEV (Agency for the Development of the Empolese Valdelsa), the Lead Partner of the TREASURE project, will present collaborative governance models and decision-making frameworks designed to support environmental improvement in port areas. Case studies from major Mediterranean ports will be shared by the Valencia Port Foundation, the Piraeus Port Authority, and ASEV, focusing respectively on the ports of Valencia, Piraeus and Livorno. These presentations will address environmental challenges, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement processes and the development of local agreements, offering practical insights into how multi-stakeholder ecosystems can be effectively implemented in different territorial contexts.
