Webinar: TREASURE approach to Environmental Governance –multi-stakeholder supporting ecosystems for environmental quality in Mediterranean Ports

TREASURE consortium is committed to improving environmental quality in and around Mediterranean port areas—by mitigating and reducing sediment and water pollution. As this is objective is shared by many Mediterranean ports the TREASURE consortium wishes to share its tested solutions and lessons learned with a wider community of experts and stakeholders, to encourage the replication and upscaling of effective approaches. A webinar on Environmental Governance – multi-stakeholder supporting ecosystems for environmental quality in Mediterranean Ports will be held online on February 26, 2026. 

This webinar will offer participants from local, regional and national public administrations, infrastructure and service providers, ports and shipping companies, enterprises, SMEs,  business support organisations, NGOs, and research and academic institutions across the Euro-MED area the opportunity to:

  • Explore transnational experiences in testing multi-stakeholder supporting ecosystems and mini-territorial labs to improve environmental quality in Mediterranean port areas.
  • Understand how to actively engage stakeholders from different sectors within territorial labs, fostering collaboration and behavioural change.
  • Discover practical tools and governance models for the creation and management of multi-stakeholder ecosystems, building on previous practices.
  • Exchange knowledge and lessons learned with peers across Euro-MED territories to support sustainable port-related solutions.
