During the celebration of the 2024 European Maritime Day in Rovinj on 26-27 June, the Natural Heritage Mission brought together several thematic projects to harness its impact on the protection and restoration of natural and cultural areas in the Mediterranean.
TREASURE took the opportunity to present its policy framework and overall goals looking at how the Natural Heritage network can foster its contribution in the major EU strategies and policies, namely the European Green Deal, The Territorial Agenda 2030, the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), the WESTMED initiative and the Marine Strategy Framework.
Visiting Rovinj and living the Batana experience was a great start to all activities! Looking forward to building upon this first in-person meeting, and creating new opportunities to grow our network and strengthen our impact.
